In an effort to give back to the community that has given us so much, FLO is committed to presenting community engagement programming for all ages, from elementary schoolers to residents at local retirement communities.
The majority of FLO Out & About events are private events at various community centers. Pinocchio - A Children's OperaSaturday, October 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
Paychex Theatre, The Strong Museum of Play FLO Young Artists performed a familiar tale with a musical twist! Adapted by John Davies, Pinocchio features music by Mozart, Offenbach, Donizetti, Sullivan, Pergolesi, and Verdi. This performance was directed by Emily Cuk and featured Erika Vasallo (2022 YA), Matthew Campisi (2020 YA), Starletta Noll-Long (2019 YA), Anders Namestnik (2019 YA), and Robert Riordan (2020-2021 YA).

Fantastical Family FunPresented with support from the Joseph Avenue Arts & Culture Alliance, and featuring soprano Starletta Noll-Long (2019 YA) and pianist Érico Bezzera, this Spooky Celebration showcased fantastical and sometimes spooky songs. Audience members were encouraged to dress up in costumes!

St. Luke's Episcopal Church Finger Lakes Opera was pleased to be a part of Brockport's Winter Serenades in 2022. Jordan Bachmann (2018 YA), Starletta Noll-Long (2019 YA), and pianist Kevin Nitsch presented a recital of popular arias and show tunes.
